Hi, my name is Sierra Thompson. I am employed by the Catholic Diocese of Sioux Falls through our new diocesan missionary program called Lumen Christi. Part of my work as the Lumen Christi Program Coordinator is to help form Young Adult ministry in the Aberdeen area. I grew up in Belle Fourche, SD and attended Augustana University in Sioux Falls. I have served as a Totus Tuus Missionary for two summers and also spent a year working at St. Joseph's Parish in Mobridge, SD. I am very excited to now be serving in Aberdeen through Lumen Christi and I can't wait to see what God has in store for this community! Please contact me if you are interested in our ministry or if you have questions!

Theology on Tap is outreach to and collaboration with young adult Catholics in pursuit of spiritual growth. It is a method of invitation, based on a spirit of hospitality, which creates a space for people in their 20s and 30s to explore how faith in Christ can speak to their circumstances. Since its creation in the Archdiocese of Chicago in 1981, this program has proven to be a successful vehicle for reaching young adults interested in learning more about their faith, coming together to share community, and feeling welcomed and valued in the Catholic Church.
